Rules & Regulations

• —Open only to group performances.
• —Performance must be based on a movie concept.
• —Performance should include storyline, characters, emotions, conflict/turning point, climax and resolution.
• —Freestyle performance; teams may incorporate suitable dance styles.
• —Performance should be an original interpretation of the chosen movie concept.
• —Each team must have 5–10 members.
• —Maximum 2 accompanists are allowed, but they are not counted as participants.
• —Accompanists cannot perform or be present on stage.
• —Total allotted time is 10 minutes: 2 minutes setup, 6 minutes dance and 2 minutes clearance/exit.
• —No additional time will be provided.
• —Brief pre-recorded narration/voice-over is permitted only during the 2-minute setup.
• —No narration, dialogue, speeches or interruptions are allowed once the dance begins.
• —Background music and theme-based visuals/videos must be submitted at least 2 days before the competition.
• —Teams must report at least 30 minutes before their performance.
• —Props must be safe, lightweight and easy to handle.
• —Fire, water, glass, sharp objects, explosives, smoke effects, flammable materials and hazardous substances are prohibited.
• —Teams are responsible for their own props.
• —Costumes must be appropriate, decent and relevant to the movie concept.
• —Only registered team members may perform.
• —Exceeding the time limit may result in penalty marks/disqualification.
• —Vulgar, offensive, abusive, discriminatory or inappropriate content is prohibited.
• —Judging will consider storytelling/movie representation, choreography, synchronization, expressions/stage presence, creativity, costume and overall presentation.
• —Judges' decision will be final.
• —Organizing committee may modify the schedule/rules if required.
