Rules & Regulations

  • Each team shall consist of 2 members.
  • Participants must register and report to the venue on time.
  • A participant can be a member of only one team.
  • Teams will receive a fictional cybercrime case and digital evidence.
  • Participants must analyze evidence, identify clues, reconstruct the incident and submit evidence-based conclusions.
  • Marks will be awarded for correctly identified and justified findings.
  • Additional marks may be awarded for evidence analysis, timeline reconstruction, conclusions, report and presentation.
  • Each round must be completed within the specified time limit.
  • Late submissions may receive penalties or may not be accepted.
  • Only authorized computers, software, tools and resources may be used.
  • Internet access, personal devices, external storage and online tools are prohibited unless specifically permitted.
  • AI tools, ChatGPT, unauthorized software, outside assistance and communication with other teams are prohibited.
  • Participants must not attack, scan, exploit or interfere with systems outside the authorized competition environment.
  • Tampering with or sharing competition evidence is prohibited.
  • Cheating or rule violations may result in penalties or immediate disqualification.
  • Organizers and judges have the final decision on scoring, disputes, penalties and disqualification.
